Pizza Hut’s Tuscani Roast Beef: A Must-Try

A few years back, Pizza Hut offered the public with its “Viva Italian Pizzas: Roma, Sicily, Milano and Florence”. This 2011, the company proudly presents its very own “Tuscani Pizza” line: Supremo, Gourmet BBQ Chicken, Roast Beef, 3 Cheese Spinach & Bacon and Premium All-Meat. With Ms. Shamcey Supsup, Miss Universe 2011 3rd Runner up, as Pizza Hut’s Tuscani endorser, people would really want to try the pizza out and see for themselves the goodness of Tuscani, Italy right inside their favorite pizza house—Pizza Hut!
As an amateur writer and as someone who dearly loves Italian cuisine, I must not miss the chance to taste the new Tuscani Pizza line, blog about the pizza experience and even get a chance to win big prizes from the Pizza Hut’s Flavor Your Life Contest! This is indeed one package deal that is very hard to resist especially for a food enthusiast like me. A DSLR camera and a Tuscani Roast Beef Pizza appeared to be the best deal for me since I prefer beef over other meat toppings and I have also been dreaming of owning a DSLR camera in the near future.
November 13, Sunday, was the day of the greaaat pizza feast. My mom and I went to the nearest SM mall so we can finally have a taste of the Roast Beef Pizza that I’ve been craving for. According to Pizza Hut’s site and blog descriptions that I’ve previously read, this pizza variant is described as follows:
“Premium roast beef and shiitake mushrooms combined with cheddar and mozzarella cheeses and premium tomato sauce, drizzled with garlic steak sauce. ”
Upon my drooling encounter with the pizza, I can say that indeed, it was topped with generous amount of roasted beef slices, shiitake mushrooms and mozzarella & cheddar cheese. The mushrooms and cheeses added a meaty/umami sensation that made the pizza an OH-SO-SAVORY entree. Another thing that made this pizza look more inviting was the drizzled garlic steak sauce. The sauce didn’t just look good on the pizza but it complemented the over-all roast beef taste as well, since it gives a tangy kick. It sure felt like I was dining in a steakhouse that offers affordable steak without compromising its taste and beef quality. J Oh, it was not just the toppings that I found terrific. The pizza crust was superb too! Yes, it was thin—but it was very soft and chewy. My mom didn’t even have a problem munching on her pizza slices.
It was quoted that “Change is the only permanent thing in this world.” With this, I strongly believe that we must capture the moments most memorable to us, just like how my mom and I feasted on Pizza Hut’s Tuscani Roast Beef Pizza. We know very well that we age and time seems to be flying faster than expected, but with a high-quality camera like a Canon EOS 550D, looking back, reminiscing, and immersing in those sweet, candid moments of the past will be as easy as ABC. Ergo, we don’t have to fear the fact that we ‘might’ forget—for photographs will remain and will serve as our little remembrance of that person, place, event, idea that once meant so much to us.
For as low as 349pesos (medium sized Roast Beef pizza), one could already capture an authentic Tuscani experience like the photo collage that I made! I am definitely excited and at the same time looking forward to my next encounters with the other Tuscani pizza variants.
