As I tread this insightful journey into pregnancy, I realized that an infanticipating mom never really runs out of marvelous firsts as each day unfolds.

But on November 21, I was blessed to have experienced two of those in one day.

As I laid quietly for an afternoon nap, I felt what seemed like butterfly wings fluttering against the walls of my belly. The thumps grew harder until I realized these weren’t just gas bubbles or my own heartbeat. Well into my 21st week of pregnancy, I knew what I felt were my baby’s kicks!

I suddenly remembered this recent TV ad featuring Pizza Hut’s newest line of pizzas, the Tuscani, and that one of its five premium flavors is roast beef. That good old yumminess of Italian pizza blending with the strong, rich flavor of roast beef shawarma - now, that’s what I call a complete craving buster.

So, off the husband goes for a box of Pizza Hut’s newest offering. To complete our Italian experience, I prepared Spaghetti Bolognese in Italian sauce.

It was my first time to have tasted roast beef pizza, and I must say, it didn’t disappoint! Each bite off every delightfully thin slice was unforgettable. Its tempting aroma, the robust flavor of shiitake mushrooms combined with the delectable chunks of premium roast beef, garlic steak sauce, tomato and mozzarella, all provided that distinct Italian and Persian tang my taste buds were craving for.

The other good thing about the Tuscani roast beef pizza is it’s comprised of the essential goodies every woman with a baby bump needs: The right amount of carbs in its cheesy crust for baby’s brain development, plus, plenty of protein in its beef and mushrooms for physical growth.

Memories are priceless, moments are forever. I’d like to keep lasting keepsakes of my daughter and be able to relive every detail vividly - from the way she curled her fingers to her first graduation. I want to be able to trace back her steps into the world, from small, fragile ones to groundbreaking turns. When she’s all grown up, I’d like to show her how wondrous this entire journey has been for us.
